PALANGA (LTU, Aug 7): First day of 97th Lithuanian Championships registered excellent discus 68.16 by World champion 2017 Andrius Gudzius for his sixth national title. Also to note Ieva Zarankaite 60.99 in women discus for third national title. Gediminas Truskauskas clocked life-time best 10.37 (+1.7) in the 100 m, also Simas Bertasius won the 1500 m in 3:40.34, his fifth title in a row.
